WC/SCD: From mouth to shell, from flower to ear

U trenutku kada je leto već polako počelo da izmiče, vetar nas je doneo u samo oko ravnice. Sletele smo umorne, ali spremne da se zadržimo ovde neko vreme – osluškujući vetar i oslanjajući se na vodu. Na samom obodu grada, odmah uz reku, koraci se lako gube u pesku.

Ali sada, čini nam se kao da neki glasovi dopiru iz daljine, kao da se neko približava našem malom skloništu. Još uvek im ne razaznajemo lica, ali ne možemo a da se ne zapitamo – da li ste to vi?

Negovanje uzajamnosti znači stvaranje prostora u kojem se prepoznajemo – i u sebi i u drugome; prostora u kom je važnije da postavljamo pitanja, nego da pronalazimo odgovore.

U petak, 5. septembra, petoro učesnika/ca WCSCD 2025 programa predstaviće se kroz predmete, slike i različite aktivnosti. Vrata SKUP-a biće otvorena od 19 časova – svratite na pivo, hranu i druženje!

At the height of summer, the wind carried five of us into the very heart of the plain. We landed drowsy, yet ready to linger here for a while – listening to the air, leaning on the water. At the edge of the city, right beside the river, footsteps fade softly into the sand.

But now, we seem to hear some voices in the distance, as though someone is approaching our small shelter. We do not yet recognize their faces, but we can't help but wonder – could it be you?

Cultivating reciprocity involves building a place within which to recognise oneself and the other, to ask questions rather than find answers.

On Friday, September 5th, the five curators and artists participating in the WCSCD 2025 will introduce themselves through objects, images, and actions. The doors of SKUP will be open from 19:00. Come join us for some beer, food, and a chance to get to know each other.
