KimChi Records takes over the club as label representatives Patamamba and Chicaiza bring the South American spirit and half a ton of bananas to Karmakoma.

Hailing from Ecuador, Martin & Kim, aka Chicaiza & Patamamba, run the infamous Kimchi label and record stores in Berlin and Quito, alongside another label they work on, Children of The Sun. Behind Patamamba is another record shop that opened in 2015, Bikini Wax, and behind Chicaiza is the curation of The Hive after-hours in Montreal. Together, they weave entertaining hours for tipsy dancers, revolving mainly around all types of House.
