We’re proud to bring you ZORA Vol. II, the next chapter in our series diving into the outer fringes of club music. For this edition, we’re excited to feature two of our favorite Berlin-based artists, Assyouti and Sara Persico, whose sounds boldly challenge the limits of what soundsystem music can be.

ASSYOUTI is a Cairo-born, Berlin-based electronic music powerhouse reshaping the global club scene with his bold, boundary-pushing sound. Fusing hypermodern bass, fractured rhythms, and experimental percussion, his music delivers an electrifying edge that’s impossible to ignore. With tracks like "Applied Pressure", "Mister Blister" and "Loose Cannon," he’s a standout at global festivals like Nyege Nyege and CTM. Last year, he closed Berlin’s Atonal Festival in obliterating fashion and later delivered the most talked-about performance at Unsound Festival, cementing his reputation as one of electronic music’s most exciting new voices. As co-founder of the No_Stone event series and a 2024 SHAPE+ artist, Assyouti continues to push club music into bold, uncharted territory.

Berlin-based sound artist and vocalist SARA PERSICO emerged from Naples' fiery underground noise scene, crafting a unique sound that fuses her voice with analog electronics, field recordings, and samples. Rooted in academic music, she performed at renowned festivals and venues like CTM, Nyege Nyege, Berghain, Documenta 15, Ormside Projects and Roter Salon. A versatile improviser, Sara has collaborated with a wide spectrum of artists, including Caterina Barbieri, Elvin Brandhi, Andy Moor (The Ex), Chrisman, Tony Elieh, Ludwig Wandinger and Dirar Kalash. Her performances and projects bridge experimental soundscapes and raw vocal intensity, captivating audiences across the global electronic and experimental music scenes.
