DISCO NOT DISCO is back at Dim for Episode 3 with Timothy J Fairplay!

Embracing DND's six-hour set format, Timothy J Fairplay visits Belgrade for the third time, after appearances in 2014 and 2018.

TJF's resume goes far beyond "Cleopatra Loves The Acid," which we loved so much. It goes all the way to the ancient late nineties, freezing the wave with Battant, or playing Andrew Weatherall's Haywire Sessions. One album and one EP predated the split with Kalidasa that made him a celebrity on Belgrade's dance floors.

Somewhere along the way, his first technical collaboration with Weatherall at the Scrutton Street Studio turned into an artistic one with The Asphodells, where the two served a feast of krautrock and British industrial music never heard before. His Crimes of the Future label was celebrated at Drugstore in 2014 when Scott Fraser joined us. It was TJF who did one of the first remixes for Tapan.

TJF's own sense of doom disco psychedelia is what we're here to celebrate on November 22.

DJ Brka, Schwabe, and Toshke will be there to sip wine and comment on the quality of the program with you.
