Here’s one for the best of students! If Dimensions festival and Outlook festival ring a bell, and we’re sure they do, get ready to meet the co-founder of the two. Leeds-based DJ has been around since the late ‘80s, playing music at acid parties and chill-out rooms, a format he is fond of and works on bringing it back. Simply put - Simon Scott is an absolute legend!

We’re having Simon at just the right moment, as his sound system event @subdubleeds celebrates its 26th Birthday this October! Along with resident sound system Iration Steppas, they’ve been pushing upfront digital dub, roots, dubstep, and drum’n’bass.

Last year, Simon decided to bring back psychedelic chill-out events he promoted back in the 90s with a new night, Club cosmos. Acid, Ambient, Ambient Techno, Cosmic, Downtempo, Krautrock, Psychedelic Dub, and Space Rock journeys feed the horizontal crowd.

Simon sent you a message saying, “Expect Psychedelic dancefloor trippers, Acid, EBM, Chicago jackers, and Proto Goa sounds on the night.” We know Sacha Mambo will be there!
