Local Frequencies

Local Frequencies has been created to provide a platform for talented, yet often underappreciated DJs and music producers from smaller towns in Serbia, allowing them to showcase their skills to audiences in Belgrade. These artists deserve recognition for their hard work and quality, yet many lack the opportunity to perform on larger stages—a gap this project aims to fill.

Despite the saturation of well-known names in Belgrade's electronic scene, we believe that the true gems lie hidden in the smaller towns, away from the spotlight. Local Frequencies is designed as a platform for these dedicated artists to step out of the shadows, opening doors to new opportunities and connections while giving the audience a chance to discover the future stars of electronic music.

This pioneering initiative breathes new life into the local music scene, enhancing its quality through motivated DJs and producers from the interior, who bring fresh ideas and creative impulses. Connecting artists from different backgrounds and fostering experiences, fair play, and collegial relationships are crucial for the advancement of this profession, further contributing to the development of the scene.

Kult, a club with a strong commitment to supporting the local scene and caring for its future, will be the first to host the talented DJs from Kragujevac.
