Listed by Resident Advisor as one of the artists to keep an eye on in 2025, Japan’s DJ Maria moved from Osaka to Tokyo to strengthen the city’s influential take on techno. Now, she’s already a synonym for the sound of Japan’s new techno generation, as well as the country’s outdoor festival craze though her involvement with Movement and Transcedance festivals.
Groovy yet mental, her seamless mixing often steals the show. Rising up to the challenge are Subspace’s PTŽC and KK’s Sacha Mambo.
After scoring gigs at about all of the world’s major hubs, it’s time she adds Karmakoma to her bio.
